In today's life, because of too much competition, parents are generating too much pressure on children, In actual they try to satisfy there ego by gossiping about the success of there children in society.  But if we think from the point of view of children then this may be dangerous for them.
  • If you have a habit to compare your children with other children then be Alert!
  • If you torture your children about any failure in any exam, games, competition then be Alert!
  • If you are putting your dreams on your children then be Alert!
  • If you are putting too much pressure to get higher marks in exam then be Alert!

We are hearing about many cases related to children that some have done suicide in teen age or in small age. This is due to the pressure which the children are facing in these days.

Try To Understand Your Children:

Every child has different quality so don’t expect to get result in every segment or subject, suppose one has interest in games then don’t expect very good result in studies from him or her. In the same way if some one has interest in dance then don’t expect good results from games or studies.
  1. It is good to motivate children to get the best knowledge and try to show there best performance everywhere in-spite of putting pressure to show there best. Also it is not at all good to torture children if they do not get good result.
  2. Try to spend some time with children.
  3. Try to make them familiar so that they may share there personal thinking with you.
  4. Motivate them to get success in life.
  5. Don’t ever compare your child with another.
  6. Try to recognize the quality of your children and boost that quality.
  7. Give healthy diet for healthy growth of physical and mental growth.

Keep An Eye On The Changing Behavior of Your Child:

If you find any abnormal changes in child like change in behavior, change in talking style, change in eating habit etc. then do talk to him and try to find out the reason otherwise there may be chance of any mental problem.

  • अगर आप अपने बच्चो को डाटते हैं उनके असफलताओं को लेके तो भी सावधान हो जाएँ !
  • अगर आप अपने बच्चो पर परीक्षा में सफलता प्राप्त करने के लिए बहुत ज्यादा दबाव डालते हैं तो भी सचेत हो जाएँ !
  • अगर माता पिता घर में बच्चो के सामने लड़ते हैं तो भी सावधान हो जाएँ!
  • अगर आप अपने सपनो को अपने बच्चो पर थोपते हैं तो भी सावधान हो जाएँ!
बच्चो पर ज्यादा दबाव उन्हें मानसिक तौर पर बीमार कर सकता है और वो अवसाद से ग्रस्त हो सकते हैं, उनकी याददाश्त कमजोर हो सकती है, वे उग्र हो सकते हैं आदि.
हम वैसे भी समाचार में छोटे बच्चो द्वारा आत्महत्या के बारे में सुनते रहते हैं. ये सब दबाव के कारण होता है.

अपने बच्चो को समझिये :

हर बच्चे में अलग प्रकार की खूबी होती है अतः हर बच्चे से हर विषय में सफलता के बारे में अपेक्षा नहीं रखना चाहिए. उदाहरण के लिए अगर कोई खेल में अच्छा हो तो जरुरी नहीं की वो पढाई में भी अच्छा होगा, अगर कोई नाचने गाने में अच्छा है तो जरुरी नहीं है की वो खेल में अच्छा हो या पढ़ाई में अच्छा हो. 
अच्छा तो ये है की हम बच्चो को उनके पसंदिदार विषय में आगे जाने के लिए प्रेरित करे और उन्हें साधन उपलब्ध करवाएं. प्रेरणा देना अच्छा है परन्तु दबाव डालना सही नहीं होता है.
  1. अपने बच्चो के साथ कुछ समय व्यतीत करे.
  2. बच्चो से घुले –मिले जिससे की वो आपसे सब बात शेयर करे.
  3. बच्चो को सफलता के लिए प्रेरित करे न की दबाव डाले.
  4. कभी भी बच्चो की तुलना न करे.
  5. अपने बच्चे की खूबी को पहचान के उसे बढ़ावा दे.
  6. अपने बच्चे को स्वस्थ और अच्छा आहार दे जिससे की उसका सही पोषण हो सके.
  7. बच्चो के व्यवहार पर नजर रखे , अगर कोई अनावश्यक बदलाव होता दिखे तो उसका कारण पता करे और दूर करने की कोशिश करे.
  8. अगर आपको लगे की कोई मानसिक रोग से बच्चा ग्रस्त हो रहा है तो किसी अच्छे मानसिक चिकित्सक से सलाह ले.
  9. किसी भी प्रकार के अनावाश्वक बदलाव को नजरअंदाज न करे. माता पिता की समझदारी की बच्चे को अच्छा भविष्य दे सकती है.
  10. स्वस्थ और अच्छा वातावरण दीजिये जिससे बच्चा सही और स्वस्थ तरीके से बढ़ सके.
